' There’s no point in trying to come up with the perfect combination of words to encapsulate this site and me. As I’ve said many times before, this is just a hobby. So let’s just start with some basic facts. The whole thing started back in 1998 (way before the invention of the word weblog) and it has continued into the present as the colossal exercise in vanity that it is. For better or worse, I have spent a good part of my life sharing tidbits I’ve lumped into basic categories such as life, politics, and culture. Terribly original, I know.
