About Eric: Early Life: Born as Eric Steven Mathews in Washington DC, our hero escaped to Florida early in life to grow up in Palm Springs. He attended John I. Leonard High School in Lake Worth before going to Florida Atlantic University. Following FAU Eric enlisted in the US Army. You're in the Army Now: Joining the Army in 1992 provided Eric with a solid foundation and more importantly a paycheck. After basic training at Fort Jackson he attended the US Army Intelligence School at Ft Huachuca, AZ becoming an Intelligence Analyst.
