' Massachusetts Friends of Midwives (MFOM), founded in 1983, is a non-profit educational organization. We are committed to supporting the practice of midwifery in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and to safeguarding every woman's right to give birth how, where, and with whom she chooses. For seventeen years MFOM has mobilized grassroots support for women's birthing rights.
