'I just quit the 92nd job in my life to move to the country to write, cook and for the most part dangle my feet in the river. The past year I worked at the head office of Vintages, the fine wines and spirits wing of that great big monopoly that is the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario). I learned a lot, got my first taste of Cristal champagne, and no, I don't get a discount and I can't get you one. This summer I'll be working as a chef for an Art Retreat Centre in the hills south of Georgian Bay. This website, beginning June 1st, will document the challenges of cooking for 12 - 30 people daily. When I worked at the centre 2 summers ago I had a lot of questions from the guests on how I got the food to taste like it did. '-Edible Tulip
