' AboutAboutThe Cappelli Institute of Music is located in central Oak Park and has served residents of Chicago and the Western Suburbs since 1980. CIM is regarded as a prominent and respected musical institution in the area, and its professional staff provides instruction in piano, violin, viola, voice, harp, bass, and guitar. The Institute operates on a semester system, which last for 16 weeks. During this time, students meet once a week in a one on one setting with their instructors. At the end of each semester, students have the opportunity to play in recitals for family and friends. Although semesters start at a specific time, new students are able to begin taking lessons at any time. The Cappelli Institute of Music is open from Monday through Saturday, and students are welcome to take 30 min, 45 min, or one hour music lessons.
