'Cabane is quite literally the French word for a cabin or fisherman’s hut. However, for us the word conjures up so much more. Simply furnished cabins, with crackling log fires, perched high on hillsides…wooden beach houses, full of light and laughter on endless summer days…pared down living. Traditional French style, yet with a practical modern twist. This is why, before launching Cabane in October 2004, I spent the a whole year scouring France for products that perfectly capture that very essence of simple French living.Since that first collection, I have continued to add to Cabane's range, and I am constantly on the lookout for new products.
