' 07/14/04 Welcome to our Web site! I (April) was born in Prince George, BC and grew up in the wonderful but very small town of Stewart. I moved to Nanaimo in 1993 to go to Malaspina College, and the Island kind of grew on me, I graduated in 1995 and shortly after began working at the Island Hall Beach Resort in Parksville. Then in 1997 I started at the Howard Johnson Harbourside Hotel in Nanaimo where I worked for five years until I went on Maternity leave. Now I am thoroughly enjoying my new career as a Mother!Len was born in Timmins, Ontario and grew up in Thunder Bay. He and his parents moved to BC when Len was in highschool. Len also went to Malaspina (not at the same time I was there though) taking the Business Management Program. He started working at Island Hall as an '-Brosko
